Emergency Housing
In housing emergencies, helping an individual or family stabilize their living situation is the key for them to be able to achieve long-term success and self-sufficiency.
Housing Services are WAGAP's most comprehensive program. Services including housing, case management, budgeting, and life skills are offered to those in need of Emergency Shelter, Supportive Housing and Rental Assistance.
Our program incorporates housing sites in both Klickitat and Skamania counties, with settings appropriate to a variety of resident needs.
Guided Path Shelter & Permanent Housing
Shelter: For homeless individuals and families, the Guided Path Shelter in Bingen offers a 3-30 day stay in a six bedroom facility. Each household has a private room, while sharing kitchen, living area and restrooms with other residents. Case management services help residents find permanent housing by identifying and eliminating barriers.
Permanent Supportive Housing: Offering permanent housing and case management services for families and individuals with disabilities.
Rental Assistance: Limited funds are available to help households in danger of being evicted for not paying their rent.

Youth Experiencing Homelessness
WAGAP offers these services to youth between 13-18: help finding a trusted adult to stay with, financial help for food and phone, counseling, both personal and family reconciliation when possible, and advocacy with schools and other entities.
WAGAP’s Rental Assistance program is currently operating. Funding and help are available. This announcement was made in response to Proclamation 21-09, which is intended to bridge the operational gap between the eviction moratorium enacted by prior proclamations and the protections and programs subsequently enacted by the Legislature.
