Q. How do I get started?
A. It’s easy! You can use the online donation form (through PayPal), and choose “monthly.” Or you can have your donation transferred directly from your bank account. Using a bank transfer means that WAGAP receives your entire donation, without paying credit card fees. Just fill out the Recurring Donation Authorization and Enrollment Form on our website and mail it to WAGAP. Or contact your bank and see if they have other automatic payment options that work for you.
Q. When will my first gift be processed?
A. If you use online giving, right away! If you use bank transfer, we set up the payment for the date you choose. Your first donation should process on the next following date of choice.

A. When you join our convenient Partners In Hope monthly giving program there are benefits for both you and WAGAP.

Q. Will I receive a tax acknowledgement for my gifts?
A. For online givers, PayPal will send you a receipt, and you’ll receive an annual tax acknowledgement letter in time for your taxes.
Q. How would I increase my monthly gift amount?
A. To increase your automatic PayPal Credit payment:
1. Log in to Paypal and click PayPal Credit on the left side of the page.
2. Click Manage payments.
3. On the right, click Change under 'you set up automatic payments'.
4. Update your payment details and click Continue.
5. Review your payment and click Agree and Schedule Payments.
To increase your automatic bank transfer:
1. Contact your bank, or
2. Fill out an updated Recurring Donation Authorization and Enrollment Form on our website and mail it to WAGAP.
Q. How would I stop my monthly donation on PayPal?
A. To cancel your automatic PayPal payment:
1. Log in to PayPal and click PayPal Credit on the left side of the page.
2. Click Manage payments.
3. On the right, under You set up automatic payments click Cancel.
4. Review the cancelation and click Cancel automatic payments.
5. If you are using a PayPal Business Account, contact PayPal to change the payment.
Q. How would I stop my monthly donation through my bank?
A. Contact your bank and let them know what changes you’d like to make.
Q. What is WAGAP’s preferred method of monthly giving?
A. Please know that we are grateful for your support regardless of the method used! But since you asked: using your checking account through your bank is strongly preferred. This method allows your neighbors to benefit from your full gift rather than losing a percentage to credit/debit card processing fees.

Our mission at Washington Gorge Action Programs is to “Strengthen community by inspiring hope and helping people help themselves.” If you think we aren’t using your donation properly, you can ask us to return it.
Terms for Partners in Hope Sustaining Donation Program
If you choose to use this program, your pledged gifts will be automatically processed, which significantly reduces administrative and mailing costs.
Tax Information. WAGAP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, # 91-0793062, and your gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
Monthly Donation Payment. Payments will be deducted from your checking account or charged to your preferred credit/debit card account each month. You will receive payment statements from us as requested.
Availability of Funds. You are responsible for maintaining sufficient funds in your checking account or sufficient credit limit available on your credit card on the payment date. Your bank may charge you if your transfer is returned due to insufficient funds. WAGAP will continue to charge your credit card until you contact us and ask to be removed from the program.
Record of Payments. The amount and date of your automatic monthly gift will appear on your bank or credit card statement.
Account/Address Change. Please notify us of any credit card updates, checking account, or address changes as soon as possible.
