Food Banks and Nutrition

Washington Gorge Action Programs Food Banks work to alleviate the problem of hunger in our communities. Living in an area of natural and agricultural abundance, people are often surprised to discover the number of local people who experience food insecurity.
Washington Gorge Action Programs leads the effort to address hunger in Klickitat and Skamania counties. Low-income individuals and families are eligible for monthly Food Boxes including canned goods, fresh produce, bread, and frozen meat. Boxes provide three to twelve nutritionally balanced meals, and are customized for the size of your family. A special Senior Box is also available to income-eligible seniors.
Our Food Banks accept donations of a variety of foods. Here is a list of the most-desired foods, in English and Spanish.
Routes will be adjusted over time, so please check back often for the most up-to-date schedules.
Flyers are available in English and Spanish.
